ABOUT US
We are a non-profit organization started in 1997, dedicated to promoting integrated rural development and enhancing human resource development through technology transfer and entrepreneurship promotion. Our mission is to empower rural communities by providing training, motivation, and support in the agro-industrial sector, including the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants, floriculture, aquaculture, organic farming, and post-harvest technology and food processing. With a focus on sustainable practices, we aim to create opportunities for economic growth and improved living standards in rural areas
Over the years, our organization has made significant contributions to the field of rural development and entrepreneurship promotion. We have organized over a hundred training programs, seminars, and workshops in various aspects of agro-industrial development, providing essential knowledge and skills to aspiring entrepreneurs. In addition, we have provided forward and backward linkage support to many of these entrepreneurs, including the supply of raw materials and marketing assistance, helping them to successfully establish and run their projects. These efforts have not only helped to create employment opportunities in rural areas but have also contributed to the economic growth of the region. Our organization is proud to be a nodal center for the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India and NABARD, serving as a training hub for their Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business Center schemes. Working in collaboration with MANAGE, Hyderabad, we have provided training to over 900 agriculture graduates, achieving a high success rate among those who have launched their own agro-industrial projects. Our training programs are among the best in the country, consistently ranking among the top 5 nationwide. As a recognized leader in rural development and entrepreneurship promotion, we are committed to helping agriculture graduates achieve their full potential and drive economic growth in rural communities.
In addition to our training and support services for rural entrepreneurs, we are also home to the Regional Institute of Science and Technology (RIST), a wing of our organization that serves as an extension center for Pondicherry (Central) University. Through its twinning programs, RIST offers MBA, MCA, M.A, and M.Com courses to students in the region. As a leading institution for higher education and professional development, RIST plays a critical role in our efforts to promote human resource development and spur economic growth in rural areas. Our another wing Sristi Community College is registered with IGNOU for
providing associate degree , Diploma and Certificate for a wide range of courses .
Our organization is dedicated to providing practical training and learning opportunities to aspiring entrepreneurs, and our Sristi Herbal Parks-cum-Gene Bank of Medicinal Plants in Patna and state-of-the-art fish hatchery at Vill-Mahiswara, Manjhaul, Dist-Begusarai are testament to this commitment. These facilities offer hands-on experiences that are critical to the development of the agro-industrial sector, and have helped to train and inspire hundreds of individuals. In addition, we have also assembled a talented team of over 200 professionals from a range of fields, including agriculture, engineering, management, industrial consultancy, and socio-economic research. This diverse and highly skilled group of experts brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization, helping us to achieve our mission and make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve
we have prepared an integrated rural development project, SRISTI-AMRIT-KALASH, worth Rs. 14 crores for the DRDA in Patna. As the implementing agency for this project, we are well-positioned to bring about positive change and growth in the region. The project has been submitted to the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India for approval. Additionally, we have also prepared a project report for an Rs. 8 crores organic farming project, COVSPIUOS, as a consultant for the DRDA in Nalanda. These initiatives demonstrate our commitment to improving rural livelihoods and promoting sustainable development."
Our organization is committed to the transfer of knowledge and technology to farmers and rural communities, and we have proudly partnered with ATMA to achieve this goal. We have written several agricultural technology transfer books, covering topics such as medicinal and aromatic plant cultivation, mushroom production, organic farming, and vermi culture. These resources are designed to help farmers increase their knowledge and improve their agricultural practices. Through our collaboration with ATMA in Patna, we have provided training to over 500 farmers, sharing our expertise and helping to build a more sustainable and prosperous future for rural communities

We are proud to be an empanelled consultant of the Small Farmers Agri-business Consortium (SFAC), an organization of the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Our expertise in the field of agriculture and rural development has also earned us a place on the empanelled list of the National Institute of Rural Development in Hyderabad. Furthermore, we are honored to be part of the governing board of the State Medicinal Plants Board of the Government of Bihar, a testament to our commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture and rural development. Our recognition and partnerships with these key organizations demonstrate our expertise and leadership in the field.
We are proud to be a member of the implementation committee and an implementation partner of the Rastriya Sam Vikas Yojana in Jehanabad district, where we have trained over 1000 individuals in various trades such as medicinal and aromatic plant cultivation and floriculture. Our partnership with the District Rural Development Agency in Araria has further solidified our commitment to technology transfer and entrepreneurship promotion through training and support. Our active participation in technical meetings, seminars, workshops, and symposiums on a variety of technical issues demonstrates our dedication to staying at the forefront of our field and providing the best possible services to those we serve.

Our organization is well equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure for research and implementation, ensuring that we are capable of delivering high-quality services. Our financial transactions in the past three years have exceeded Rs. 1.25 crores, solidifying our stability and financial capability. In addition, we have constructed 11 poly houses in different parts of Bihar and Jharkhand, further expanding our reach and resources. We have also been the recipient of several rural entrepreneurship development programmes from NABARD, which we have implemented with great success. Our REDP in Muzaffarpur has become a pioneer in promoting the cultivation of medicinal plants in the state, and our REDP in Gharpura, Begusarai, Bihar achieved 100% success with 100% credit linkage from banks. With over 500 technocrats associated with us, we are poised to continue delivering impactful and innovative solutions for the rural community.
Under our Gram Vikas Doot Project, we have a strong presence in almost all districts, blocks, and panchayats of the state of Bihar. We have 850 Gram Vikas Doots working in different Panchayats of Bihar who are responsible for managing our "Sristi Knowledge Park" and "Udyam Sharanam Gachami Academy". This project aims to educate children about entrepreneurship from an early age. Our goal is to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and to support the growth and development of local communities. Through the hard work and dedication of our Gram Vikas Doots, we are proud to be making a positive impact in the state of Bihar.
We, at SRISTI, are committed to promoting entrepreneurship in the state of Bihar by providing training and support in various fields. Our expertise in Vermi Compost, Organic Farming, and Medicinal & Aromatic Plants cultivation has been put to use in the Dist- Begusarai under Rural Entrepreneurship Development programme sponsored by NABARD. We are also the organising partner of training-cum-technology transfer programmes of Bihar Council on Science and Technology, which aim to promote entrepreneurship in both the farm and non-farm sectors. Our efforts to support entrepreneurship development have led to the establishment of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Technology Transfer (CEDaTT) in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
In addition, our Regional Academy of Science & Technology Applications (RASTA) has been established as an authorized distance education center of Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology, a fully-fledged government university. Through RASTA, students can pursue UGC recognized undergraduate and postgraduate degree and diploma courses in agriculture and allied sciences, management, engineering, biotechnology, and fashion technology. This further showcases our commitment to providing practical training and learning opportunities to entrepreneurs and aspiring professionals in the field. With more than 5000 individuals placed through our placement agency and 292 agriculture graduates working as field consultants, our efforts have made a significant impact in promoting entrepreneurship and professional growth in the state of Bihar.

In addition to our achievements in the field of rural development, education, and entrepreneurship, we are proud to have received recognition for our efforts. Our organization was awarded the innovation award in the year 2008-09 by JEEVIKA, a world bank-assisted project by the government of Bihar for rural development and mass employment generation. Our wings, the Regional Academy of Science & Technology Applications (RASTA) and the Regional Institute of Advanced Studies (RIAS), have been recognized as authorized distance education centers by prestigious institutions such as Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology and the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE). These achievements demonstrate our commitment to providing quality education and training in the fields of agriculture, technology, and alternative medicine.
